The third in the series of the tiny paintings, this one being the biggest of them all at 3x3"! A cute little skunk discovers a ladybug on a dandelion. I've also included a blown-up of the dandelion flower to show the detail of the ladybug
Will be for sale at AC's art show this year, along with the other little tiny paintings!
I think it's the background that really does it for this one...but really, it's the biggest one out of all the other ones, and the others are just so small, I don't think I would have enough room in those tiny canvases for backgrounds on the other ones too
I've got one of those really really fine brushes that come into a very sharp point, which is what I used for the ladybug. It's also the same brush I used to paint the line down it, the polkadots on it, and the little highlight on it's shell
It also helps to have a VERY steady hand...which at times, I don't have O.o;
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

My advice for learning how to use color: Paint an orange.
And WOW, that is TINY!

But that's what makes each one of them unique
